Conflict to cooperation... Part 6 of 7 - Make your relationships strong enough to accommodate differences and disagreements

Satisfying relationships are critical for Happy Life.

But - How do you make your relationships strong enough to accommodate differences and disagreements??

To build more satisfying relationships with the people around you express more appreciation, delight, affirmation, encouragement and gratitude.

Life continually requires us to attend to problems and breakdowns - it is very easy to see only what is broken and needs fixing.

But satisfying relationships (and a happy life) require us to notice and respond to what is delightful, excellent, enjoyable, to work well done, to food well cooked, etc.

It is genuine appreciation that makes a relationship strong enough to accommodate differences and disagreements.

Healthy relationships need a core of genuine mutual appreciation.

Don't let your fears & insecurity stop you from giving genuine appreciation.

In a world full of problems and criticisms, make a special effort to look for opportunities to express satisfaction.

Whether partnering, parenting or working, it is the memory of many appreciations that makes a relationship strong enough to allow for the stresses of problem-solving & differing needs.

and... For god's sake - Be Genuine - feel the appreciation in your heart - If you can't feel it - you won't be genuine - and people will know this - whether they tell you or not.

Keep Thanking and Appreciating - every genuine effort and action...
