Be a Classy Person - part 3

Friends - I am sure your move towards being more classy has started well. I am sure you are aware that like all thing sin life - lifetime learning comes only through practice - practice - practice and more practice....

Step 1 > Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Step 2 > Choose your battles, choose your friends.
Step 3 > Choose your words.
Step 4 > Do not insult, gossip, or slander.

Step 5 > Be independent.

You must be courteous, but do not bend over backwards to please others. If you do, you may find yourself being taken advantage of in the future. Limit your time and availability and draw boundaries with others so that they are aware of your limits.

Step 6 > Break the stereotype shackles.
More often than not, using labels in any way, whether to identify yourself or others shows a lack of creativity, lethargic social skills, and a lack of careful observation. Give everyone respect and the benefit of doubt.

Step 7 > Be balanced. Be assertive.
Avoid passive-aggressive thinking; this is likely to trip you up eventually. Assertiveness demonstrates maturity, thoughtfulness, and confidence. Class requires balance, and assertiveness is a prime example of this concept.

Step 8 > Define yourself with a clean and elegant look.
Excellent presentation is half of the battle. Wear clothing and accessories, which flatter your body and never wear anything you feel uncomfortable in. Wear a balanced smile always.

Be a Classy Person - part 2

Move through life with class and ease in just 16 steps. When you are done reading all four parts, you should know how to be classy, or: selfless, generous, compassionate and responsible.

Step 1 > Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

Treating adults and children with class. Give others advance notice before cancelling dinner invitations, speak up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, call your parents to update them on yourself, check-in with friends; these are all simple gestures that demonstrate your class and authenticity. Ensure you choose friends who share your values.

Step 2 > Choose your battles, choose your friends.

Very few battles are truly worth fighting or taking a challenge. Stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves (the elderly, children, mentally disabled, etc.) Be wary of those who appear to enjoy bickering. If someone is rude to you, either ignore him or her completely or, once you have completely calmed down and are thinking clearly, explain how you perceived his or her actions and work towards a resolution. You can also treat them with polite disdain--be polite but let them subtly know that you don't appreciate what they are doing. Never stoop to their level, and do not be hasty. Surround yourself with positive, polite people who encourage and live your classy, intelligent lifestyle.

Step 3 > Choose your words.

The classy individual listens more than he or she speaks. Having a strong vocabulary is important, but do not use a word unless you are certain of its meaning. Use words to express yourself clearly. Importantly, do not correct others when they use improper grammar. Differences in background, family life, and education cause people to speak differently, and people often use slang for effect. More than this, it is irritating and degrading to be corrected by a know-it-all.

Step 4 > Do not insult, gossip, or slander.

Do not waste your and others time and life. When necessary, voice your opinions appropriately and constructively. This encourages your audience to listen carefully when you speak.

The power of the dream...

When we have a dream, something inside of us awakens!!

This power that lies deep within our core starts to fill us with strength and hope. Dreams are what created everything we see. Our vision tells us how far we can go. The power in our soul and heart is what takes us there. Our fate is of our own creation. Choose to create your fate by giving everything you've got for that dream. If you choose to do anything differently, then what exactly are you doing? Hanging out? If you aren't doing something every day that will take you closer to your dreams, then you're wasting your life.

Here's part lyrics of song from Celine Dion - The Power Of The Dream lyrics

Deep within each heart
There lies a magic spark

That lights the fire of our imagination
And since the dawn of man
The strength of just "I can"
Has brought together people of all nations

There's nothing ordinary
In the living of each day
There's a special part
Every one of us will play

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
As the world gives us its best
To stand apart from all the rest
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You'll find your fate is all your own creation
And every boy and girl
As they come into this world
They bring the gift of hope and inspiration

There's so much strength in all of us
Every woman child and man
It's the moment that you think you can't
You'll discover that you can

The world in lights and hope and peace
We'll pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

The power of the dream - The faith in things unseen
The courage to embrace your fear - No matter where you are
To reach for your own star -
To realize the power of the dream

When we have a very strong desire to fulfill our dreams, the whole universe starts working for it...

This is the place - This is the time....

Friends - I chose this motivational song because of its very powerful message of how this is the moment to prove to yourself what you're made of. There's no time for second guessing and backing down at this point.

Take the risk, live your calling.

Give it your all and be willing to fail because it's all part of success. Winners don't mind falling because they know they have what it takes to get back up. They can fall 1,000 times and it wouldn't matter because they know all they have to do is get up one more time than fall to win.

What will determine whether or not you will accomplish your goals is what you will decide to do when things get tough. What will you do when your mind is telling you to quit? Will you give in or will you stand up and fight?

It's time to show the world what you're made of!

Here's the song.... from Survivor - Moment of truth

When you're alone you ask yourself
What are you searching for
Deep in the night a dream is born
One that you can't ignore
If you think you can find the passion
And you're ready to take a chance
If you really believe you can make it
Then the power is in your own hands

It's the moment of truth
You're giving it all
Standing alone, willing to fall
If you can do it
Get up and prove it

Get up and show them who you are
It's the moment of truth
It's all on the line
This is the place
This is the time

Waited forever, it's now or it's never
Nothing can stop you now
Once in your life you make a choice
Ready to risk it all
Deep in your soul you hear a voice
Answering to the call
Though you know that it won't be easy
It's a promise you make for love
For the people that keep believing
And the one that you're thinking of...

You have to believe just one person in your life...

YOURSELF!!!

Often it's difficult to believe that you can be the person you want to be, do the things you want to do, and have the things you want to have in life especially if you've had many failures in the past.

It can be easy to lose faith and start believing that you're no one special and that the life you've dreamt about is reserved for the lucky and talented. You must realize that you have in you more potential than you think.

The people who achieve their dreams are people who put everything into them. They are the ones who failed over and over, yet got back up, dusted themselves off, and kept going. It's this level of determination that got them to where they are today.

The reason they keep going is because they believe they will eventually succeed even if there's no proof that they will. You must have faith in yourself. You must continually believe in yourself.

Too many times we look at successful people and think how lucky and talented they are and forget that they went through many setbacks and failures to get where they are today.

Never let that belief in yourself die. For when you let it die, your dreams die as well, and without dreams, life is pointless.

Because miracles happen - only when you believe.

Friends - please find below part lyrics of a great motivational song which tells us about what's possible when you believe in yourself.

(When You Believe - By Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston) - available on you tube.

Many nights we prayed
With no proof anyone could hear

In our hearts a hope for a song
We barely understood

Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear

We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could, whoa, yes

There can be miracles
When you believe

Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve

When you believe somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain

Hope seems like the summer bird
Too swiftly flown away

Yet now I'm standing here
My hearts so full, I can't explain

Seeking faith and speakin words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles
When you believe

Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill (Mmm)

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve (You can achieve)

When you believe somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give in to your fears

But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see the way, get through the rain

A small but still, resilient voice
Says love is very near, oh [Oh]

There can be miracles (Miracles)
When you believe (Boy, when you believe, yeah) [Though hope is frail]

Though hope is frail [Its hard]
It's hard to kill (Hard to kill, oh, yeah)

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve (You can achieve, oh)

When you believe somehow you will (Somehow, somehow, somehow)
Somehow you will (I know, I know, know)

You will when you believe [When you]

Eye of Tiger...

Friends - sharing with you one of the top motivational songs ever (at least for me). This song, is from the movie Rocky.

Eye of the Tiger, heart of a champion, eating lightning, and crapping thunder.

Brings back memories of all those Rocky movies and those workout scenes where Rocky trains to for his next fight. This is one of my favorite motivation songs.

Risin' up, back on the street Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Chorus:
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For we kill with the skill to survive

chorus

Risin' up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

chorus

The eye of the tiger (repeats out)...

Do you believe you can FLY???

If god blesses you with wings - do you believe you can FLY???

Depends!!!

Do you WANT to FLY???
Do you know how to FLY???
Are you WILLing to commit yourself to FLYING???
Are you WILLing to learning and practice???
Are you  WILLing to take the RISK???

Are you WILLing???

Will to Succeed... the pure determination necessary to triumph over fear, uncertainty and doubt as you move towards your most cherished dreams and goals.

Friends - if you don't have the WILL to FLY - even GOD cannot make you fly.

If the REWARDS/benefits/values within each goal are not greater than your FEAR of moving towards them, you simply don't have the WILL Power necessary to move them off this page and into your life. You will FAIL to achieve these goals

However, when you are willing to move heaven and earth to attain the benefits inherent within each goal, you WILL.

When your POWER is greater than the SIZE of the goal, you succeed.

Thought directs action.

Confirm the value of your goal and the appropriateness of your actions. Choose to focus on more productive thoughts. Master this and you CAN act in spite of your fear—and continue toward your desired goal.

If you BELIEVE you CAN FLY -

You WILL definitely FLY!!!

GOD has already given you the wings
Just JUMP - Start TRYING - start FLYING.....

Share...

When we share laughter,
There's twice the fun;
When we share success,
We've surpassed what we've done.

When we share problems,
There's half the pain;
When we share tears,
A rainbow follows rain.

When we share dreams,
They become more real;
When we share secrets,
It's our hearts we reveal.

If we share a smile,
That's when our love shows;
If we share a hug,
That's when our love grows.

If we share with someone
On whom we depend,
That person is always
Family or friend.

And what draws us closer
And makes us all care,
Is not what we have,
But the things we share

Let's share the Happy Moments of Life

God is always with me...

Friends - in my childhood my mother told me -
beta "GOD" is always with you - you are never alone....

Since that time i always feel and say and experience that GOD is actually with me (Mostly in form of my parents and also in form of my friends, relatives and colleagues). And i am never alone to sove the life's challenges (the biggest challenge being to maintain my values & balance in all conditions).

Faith is something abstract, it is not a thing that can be seen, it has to be believed,

Some People say 'you have to see first before your believe'
But God Says 'blessed are they who believe without seeing'

Faith is believing in something when things seems so wrong, Faith in something, somehow, God will work it out, in His way and not in ours, Faith is keeping a trust on something that seems impossible, to believe that out of nothing, God can do all things, a trust that stays in our hearts even though people are ridiculing us for our beliefs,

Faith is a healing deed, it gives strength to our hearts, gives spirit to our body, it is therapeutic for the losers mind, and the essentials for the beautiful mind, the enhancers for the great minds,

This FAITH is what builds my confidence and character - I know with GOD on my side - I CAN NEVER EVER FAIL... I have to keep faith and keep trying - that's it

Thanks to God - to be with me - always - mostly in form of my parents and also as my family, friends, relatives and colleagues.... and sometimes as a miracle...

What is the most important part of the body???

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body. Through the years I could take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy." She said, "No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon.

Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes." She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."

Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No. But you are getting smarter every year, my child."

Then, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry. My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me,"Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"

I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."

She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears.

She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."

I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?" She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."

Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.

People will forget what you said...People will forget what you did.
But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.

A Little Burnt Toast...

A story by a girl.
"When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad.

Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember Watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said:

'Baby, I love burned toast.'

Later that night, I asked him if He really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, 'Debbie, your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired a
nd besides-a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!' You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook.'

A little burnt toast never hurt anyone!!!

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

This applies on all relationships - as understanding is the basis of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship or colleagues!! "

"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket but into your own."

if you learn to accept others’ mistakes,  forgive people and avoid making repeat mistakes… your (and others') life will move smoothly.

Boss :)

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp.

They rub it and a Genie comes out.

The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'

'Me first, me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in Kerela, sleeping in a houseboat, without a care in the world.'
Puff! She's gone.

'Me next, me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Goa, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Chilled Beer and my girlfriend.'
Puff! He's gone.

'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say :)

Who will take the initiative???

Friends - We rely so much on others to do things for us, that we forget we have to do things for ourselves.

It is great that we can rely on God to do things for us. However, it is also important for us to do our part. What do I mean by that ?

If you will do your part, God will do His.

For instance, let's say you want to get out of debt, you need to take the initiative and make a decision to get out of debt and God will assist you with the rest. If you say you want to get out of debt, yet you are still using your credit cards for unnecessary things, God will see that you are not committed and He will not be able to help you. However, if you take the initiative, pay your bills on time, stop using your credit cards, God will open doors. God will provide you additional resource to help you come out of debt. God will give you money making ideas, business ideas, wisdom on how to budget, etc.- just to bring you extra income so you can be out of debt.

With God everything and anything is possible.

God can open doors for you to receive a promotion in your job, or a new better paying job. God can do it all. However, you still have to do your part and take the initiative. As you take initiative, God already started doing His part.

In fact God will go out of his way to help you - if you go out of your way to take initiative.

Trust God, take action and do your part.

Take initiatives - in seeing bigger dreams and a dream life for you and your loved ones - in making a action plan to achieve those dreams - and being the first one to act - and find a way when there is none visible...

THINK - PLAN - ACT
FOCUS - DON'T LOOSE SIGHT ON YOUR PLAN
FIND A WAY - GO ALL OUT FOR IT - WHATEVER COMES!!!

Get 100% Friendly Cooperation from people...

In today’s interdependent & unpredictable conditions, it is virtually impossible in any business, profession, or occupation for an individual to achieve great heights of success without the help of others.

The best way to get friendly cooperation is to give it.

When you make it a practice to encourage others and to help them advance in their careers whenever possible, most will reciprocate when you need their help.

Give generously, and you will benefit in kind.

No one can succeed and remain successful without the friendly cooperation of others.

and...

When you Give - or do something for someone - DO NOT EXPECT anything in return. DO it because you want to do it.

If you don't expect from others - you will always be positive about them - and your relationships will be alive and kicking.

But remember - when you give - you will surely get.

Are you in the right Company???

Friends - i don't mean the company that you work for - i mean the company that you keep - your friends, colleagues, professional relationships, relatives, neighbors, personal relationships.....

If you don’t want your life to be “messed up,” don’t fool around with those who have messed up theirs.

You cannot maintain a positive, productive attitude if you spend all your time with negative people. Those who have wrecked their own lives (and usually blame others) are not the kind of people who will help you achieve success in your own life.

Choose your friends and associates carefully, and refrain from complaints about your job, your company, or any individual. Spend your time with positive, ambitious people who have a plan for their lives.

How do you find positive people???

It's simple - just observe what people talk and what they do!!!

Positive people - talk, plan & act - positive - its always about growth, giving, doing things better, better process, better results, learning, progress, talk straight, welcome change, see strength and positive in every situation, system and person.

Negative people - talk, plan & act - negatively - its always about taking, others negatives, criticism, curse the system, blame others, talk ill, talk behind the back, resist change, see negative / fault in any situation, system & person.

Are you a Positive Person???

Are you surrounded by Positive People???

What do i do at the crossroads of life????

“A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush”

This means it is better to keep what you have than to give it up and try to get something better. You already have a bird in the hand but you would still rather have what you don’t have i.e. two birds in the bush. The point is that you should be happy with what you already have and not risk losing it by being greedy and trying to get more.

"The grass may always seem greener on the other side of the fence"

People always think they would be happier in a different set of circumstances. something that you say which means that other people always seem to be in a better situation than you, although they may not be.

"Fortune favors the Bold"

You will have good luck if you carry out your plans boldly. How would your current conditions change if you don't take risk and don't change???

So what should one do at life's crossroads??

As usual - lets go to basics: First of all Enjoy and appreciate what you already have and what you are. You have - Your uniqueness - Your Lifestyle - and Your relationships - that people envy. There may be people who think you are more happier and blessed - personally and professionally then what they have!!!

How do you know how truly happy other people are???
How do you now how truly successful a relationship is???
How do you know the other opportunity is really a better one???

My advise would be...

"Hold on to the bird in your hand - unless you have a substantially bigger one in your other hand"

Friends - I am a firm believer of "No Risk - No Game". But go for Bigger risks - go for bigger game - there is no fun in risking for a petty game.

Unless you clearly and measurably see a substantial benefit (min. 50% and more) - don't go for the risk. (I can anytime discount the thought to realty by half - if my opportunity looks like 50% it may actually be only 25%)

You have to hold on to the bird in your hand whilst you can, otherwise one day it may just fly away.

Teams, Teams, Teams....

Friends - The challenges ahead are so complex that no individual will be able to face them alone.

Cross culture teams with complimentary skills are name of the game now.

While most of our education is focused in individual strength, teaming with members is equally important. Unless you build a strong network of people with complimentary skills, you will be restricted by your own limitations. Globalization has brought in people of different origins, different upbringings and different cultures together.

Your Ability to become an integral part of a cross-cultural team will be a must for your success.

Honest Cooperation and Communication are the key to team success.

Honest Commitment, Cooperation, Communication and solid teamwork is key to any project success.

Build Self-Confidence in 5 easy steps...

1> Take action. Get it done.
Just take action. Work on something and get it done. Sitting and thinking about a problem will just make you feel worse. Simple.  Be present. Lighten up. Really, really want it.

2> Face your fear. Just do it.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience. You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Be curious. Realize that fear is often based on wrong  interpretation.

You get the courage AFTER you do it, not before you do it. When you do things you build confidence in your ability to handle different situations. You also take shaky situations more and more normal in your life.

4> Prepare & Practice
Make google your best friend. Prepare & Practice - and you will feel more comfortable and confident. Just don’t make the mistake of getting stuck in the preparation phase. Prepare and Practice - Prepare and Practice...

5> Failure or being wrong will not kill you.
Try it. Failure won’t kill you. Nor will being wrong. The sky will not fall down. Advantages of taking action - You learn. You gain experiences you could not get any other way. You become stronger. and Your chances of succeeding increases.

People really don’t care that much about what you do. They have their own life, problems and worries that the world revolves around them to focus on. They don’t think that much about you or are constantly monitoring what you do wrong or when you fail.

6> Know who you are and what you want out of life.
When you know more about who you are and what you want out of life – not other people say you want – you will have more confidence in yourself and what you can do.

What other people say or think will have less of an impact than it used to because you know who you are better than they do.

Confidence is everything!!!

What is bigger then Success???

There is a tremendous difference between being good and being excellent in whatever you do. In the world of tomorrow, just being good is not good enough. Excellence is a moving target. One has to constantly raise the bar.

Dissatisfaction with current quality and value to customer is the key to being excellent.

Be different - Be an exception - Give your 100% to whatever you do - small or big (in fact focus on every small detail without loosing the big picture brings excellence)

Few tips to develop make "Continuous excellence" a habit.

  • Never loose focus on the big picture - the end objective (deliverable)
  • Love whatever you do (even if you dont love it)
  • Become a hardcore, no-nonsense, action-oriented person - every moment should be full of action
  • Learn, Learn, Learn - Keep yourself upgraded and updated on all relevant things
  • Value and Thank feedback - especially negative feedback
  • Always tell yourself that there is at least one better way of doing whatever you do - and try to discover it
  • Have the hunger in be on the TOP in whatever you do - make it your EGO point
When everything else will be forgotten - Excellence will be remembered.

Success can die but -
Excellence never dies

Are you outdated???

Everything else in the world is growing at a super fast pace...

Are you????

Things are growing & changing at such a fast pace that unless you consistently update & upgrade yourself - Survival & Growth will become one of the greatest challenges for you.

The natural zest and curiosity for learning is one of the greatest drivers for keeping updated on knowledge.
Our learning stops once we complete our targeted formal education. 65% of all college graduates never read another book again. Ever. But continuous learning is vital to making the most of what the world has to offer.

Ongoing Zest and curiosity for learning separates us from the animals.

So how do you go about this???

Start learning from everything and everybody - every moment - don't shy from asking questions - go to Google - you will get all your answers.

To keep yourself updated - choose 10 or 20 areas that you would always want to be updated about - go to Google every week to look for new things in those areas - set Google auto search for these topics, join small courses, make a interest group on google

To keep yourself abreast with topics you are not very interested - read newspapers, watch tv news, go to Google do a random search...

To upgrade yourself with new knowledge and skills - join new courses, go to google, do free courses available on web, buy books...

DO SOMETHING!!!

Invest min 8-10 hrs on focused learning and start getting curious about everything that you do - never leave an opportunity to learn - once lost this time will not come back - also learning is like your school homework - if you do daily / weekly you can keep pace - you want to do it all together - you can never recover...

It is never late to start - Start NOW!!!

What do you stand for???

What character traits define who you are. What virtues do you embrace? What principles guide your behavior? What people around you will see in action -- what you feel about integrity, compassion, tolerance, equality, forgiveness, honesty, courage, faith, and many more such traits??? What will you tell your children 10 years from now - what you stood for all your life???

What will people answer on your back when they are asked about what you stand for???

While success is important, it can become permanent only if its built on a strong foundation of Values. Define what you stand for as early as possible and do not compromise with it for any reason. Nobody can enjoy the fruits of success if you have to argue with your own conscience.

Define your beliefs and follow them.

It will not only help you in becoming more resilient to stand up to crises, but also help in attracting the right kind of opportunity and people. Until you stand for something you can't go far in your career and life. Values help in clarifying what everyone should do or not do in a situation. It saves enormous time and effort because each issue does not have to be individually debated at length. But remember that values are meaningful only if you practice them.

People may listen to what you say but they will believe ONLY what you do.

Values are a matter of trust. They must be reflected in each one of your actions. Trust takes a long time to build but can be lost quickly by just one inconsistent act.

My guruji always say - make at-least 5 beliefs in life and never ever compromise on them - whatever comes.

Speak them loud - write them everywhere - be proud of those beliefs - let those beliefs reflect in every action - reaction and behavior of yours.

What do you stand for???

Don't worry - Keep Dreaming...

Many people wonder whether having unrealistic dreams is foolish.

Friends - dreams by themselves can never be realistic or safe. If they were, they would not be dreams. Yes one must have strategies to execute dreams. And, of course, one must slog to transform dreams into reality.

But dreams come first.

Do not get completely disillusioned by a few initial setbacks and turn cynical and plan to change your geography, business line, etc in the hope this is the solution.

It requires courage to keep dreaming.

And that is when dreams are most needed - not when everything is going right, but when just about everything is going wrong.

Never stopped dreaming.

Even when you achieve your dreams - start looking for new larger dreams.

Don't be scared about believing in something bigger? Don't be afraid of everything unknown!!!
Don't shy from getting EXCITED about the unknown? or dreaming about the beautiful details? Don't choose to worry instead of dreaming.

You always have a choice.

There is no joy in living a life that is only routine and full of stress with no dreams to believe in??? What is the harm in LIVING and looking forward toward beautiful things?

Don't let FEAR and WORRY kill your dreams

Learning will kill all your FEAR and WORRY. We can learn every day and we are here to keep learning and growing! We are here to dream and live life feeling excited and happy! Lets choose to see life with different eyes starting right now!

Believe me the longer you hold on to your fears and limitations the smaller your world becomes!!!

Believe in yourself! Trust in your life and never, ever stop dreaming!!!

Do Miracles Happen???

An 8 year old child heard her parents talking about her little brother that he was very sick and they had no money left. They were moving to a smaller house because they could not afford to stay in the present house after paying the doctor's bills. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and there was no one to loan them the money. She heard daddy say to her tearful mother with whispered desperation, ``Only a miracle can save him now''.

The girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change on the floor and counted it carefully. Clutching the precious jar tightly, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to the local drug store. She took a quarter from jar and placed it on the glass counter. ``what do you want?'' asked the pharmacist. ``Its for my little brother,'' the girl answered back. ``He is really, really sick and I want to buy miracle.''

``I beg your pardon?'' said the pharmacist. ``His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him. So how much does a miracle cost?'' ``We don't sell miracles here, child. I am sorry,'' the pharmacist said, smiling sadly at the little girl. ``Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I can try and get some more. Just tell me how much it costs.''

In the shop was a well-dress customer. He stepped down and asked the little girl, ``What kind of a miracle does your brother need?'' ``I don't know,'' sh replied with her eyes welling up. ``He's really sick and mommy says he needs an operation. But my daddy can't pay for it, so I have brought my savings.'' ``How much do you have?'' asked the man. ``One dollar and eleven cents, but I can try and get some more,'' she answered barely audibly. ``Well, what a coincidence,'' smiled the man. ``A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.'' He took her money in one hand and held her with the other.

He said, ``Take me to where you live. I want to see your little brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of miracle you need.'' That well-dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn't long before Andrew was home again and doing well. ``That surgery,'' her mom whispered, ``was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?'' The little girl smiled. She knew exactly how much the miracle cost, one dollar and eleven cents plus the faith of a little child.

No matter what you decide to do in your life, you must persevere, persevere, and persevere.

Keep at it and you will succeed, no matter how hopeless it seems at times.

persevere = continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, setbacks or opposition.

May you always feel loved....

May the pain you have known and conflict you have experienced
Give you the strength to walk through life
Facing each new situation with courage and optimism.

Always know that there are those whose love and understanding
Will always be there, even when you feel most alone.

May you discover enough goodness in others
To believe in a world of peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours
Every day of your life, And may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to those who know hate,
And let that love embrace you as you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire become part of you,
So that you may call upon them.
Remember, those whose lives you have touched
And who have touched yours are always a part of you,
Even if the encounters were less than you would have wished.
It is the content of the encounter that is more important than it's form.

May you not become too concerned with material matters,
But instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around you.
Realize that each person has limitless abilities,
But each of us is different in our own way.
What you may feel you lack in one regard
May be more than compensated for in another.
What you feel you lack in the present
May become one of your strengths in the future.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.
Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself,
And not be dependent on another's judgement of your accomplishments.

May you always feel loved :)
