What do i do at the crossroads of life????

“A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush”

This means it is better to keep what you have than to give it up and try to get something better. You already have a bird in the hand but you would still rather have what you don’t have i.e. two birds in the bush. The point is that you should be happy with what you already have and not risk losing it by being greedy and trying to get more.

"The grass may always seem greener on the other side of the fence"

People always think they would be happier in a different set of circumstances. something that you say which means that other people always seem to be in a better situation than you, although they may not be.

"Fortune favors the Bold"

You will have good luck if you carry out your plans boldly. How would your current conditions change if you don't take risk and don't change???

So what should one do at life's crossroads??

As usual - lets go to basics: First of all Enjoy and appreciate what you already have and what you are. You have - Your uniqueness - Your Lifestyle - and Your relationships - that people envy. There may be people who think you are more happier and blessed - personally and professionally then what they have!!!

How do you know how truly happy other people are???
How do you now how truly successful a relationship is???
How do you know the other opportunity is really a better one???

My advise would be...

"Hold on to the bird in your hand - unless you have a substantially bigger one in your other hand"

Friends - I am a firm believer of "No Risk - No Game". But go for Bigger risks - go for bigger game - there is no fun in risking for a petty game.

Unless you clearly and measurably see a substantial benefit (min. 50% and more) - don't go for the risk. (I can anytime discount the thought to realty by half - if my opportunity looks like 50% it may actually be only 25%)

You have to hold on to the bird in your hand whilst you can, otherwise one day it may just fly away.
