We are most of the time BUSY in things like... Television - Internet - Phone - email - Gossip - Unnecessary Meetings & Discussions - all wastes time.
These moments lost are irretrievable, gone, kaput, vanished forever into the void of the past.
Try to cut a watermelon with a spoon - and then with a knife. Pretty easy with the knife - right?
Busy is being the spoon. Productive is being the knife.

Focus on what you need to get done and do it.
Take a blank sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. At the top of the left side, write the word "Important-things that affect your short-term / mid-term objectives directly" and at the top of the right side write the word "Unimportant-things you love/want to do". Now write down all the things you currently do and the things you wish you did and classify them as one or the other.
Next, identify which of the items in both lists you consider to be urgent by putting a capital 'U' beside it. When you're done you will have the beginnings of a system to prioritize how you spend your time.
Anything that is non-important and non-urgent should be, for the most part, removed from your life.
So, get focused on the important tasks. Stop wasting time (and your life).
Be the knife.
