TARGETS = STRESS

- Targets push you into a pre-defined time-lines and achievement.
- Most of the times targets are impossible to achieve
- Targets are like exams

TARGETS are VERY BAD!!!

I HATE TARGETS :(

Targets have defined measurable objectives
Targets have defined benefits and rewards
Targets make people with differences work as a team
Targets make you learn and experience new things and grow faster...

TARGETS = GROWTH

Targets are an integral part of business life and if set rationally are very advantageous.

Targets, unlike goals, are mostly non-negotiable.
Goals, are negotiable because goals are purely personal.

But only setting target is not enough

Once targets have been set, your attitude and motivation will decide whether the target will ever be achieved or not:

What do you do when you get a target??? Quit, Camp or Climb???

Quit: You look at your targets and immediately decide that they are not achievable. You will also be able to supply plenty of reasons as to why they are not achievable in the form of a reason, an excuse or balderdash.

Camp: You are not motivated - no confident - enough - you will do just enough to stay out of danger and then set up camp and relax. “at least I did my targets” or “at least I achieved more than that quitter over there.”

Climb: You will go above and beyond expectations. You want to climb to the top or top five. You are focused on climbing to the top.

If you achieve your targets - you will surely reach your goals faster...

What do you want to be - quitter, camper or climber...

I LOVE TARGETS :)
