DEAR FRIENDS (Specially my young friends) – what I am writing today - takes many years to understand…
People make “Achievement” targets in life – and when they get it – they realize – they actually wanted something else!! and then you start chasing another achievement…
Friends – achievements are not real – they don’t always remain…
What is real??? – “Loving yourself and doing what makes you happy.” - Period. End of story.
All your achievements will be NIL – ZERO – if you are not “Happy” and not “Enjoying” your life. It doesn't matter what you "achieve". What matters is that you enjoy life. Because when you're loving yourself and enjoying life, the last thing you're thinking of is "achieving" things. – then achievements are only a requirement to survive – not the goal.
People (most of us) spend all their lives chasing “Achievements” – and when they “Achieve” they start looking for “Happiness” and “Joy”…
When you die, people (and you) won't remember your achievements – they will remember how much love you've given and received, and how much you've delighted in the journey of life.
Life is actually very simple and straight – we make a “Jalebi” and Imarti” out of our lives. (We can learn from kids – they have just one objective everyday – “Be Selfish – Enjoy and Be Happy” on a day-to-day basis…
Don’t get deceived and influenced by people who define themselves by piling up accomplishments -- fame, money, power, position. They do it to try and convince themselves that they are "good enough". And so they have all the "achievements" but they didn't have fun! NOT WORTH IT!
Believe me, the rarest and greatest accomplishment is being happy and at peace.
Life is meant to live everyday with peace in your soul, and love in your heart – and – “If you don't feel the joy, you need to search within” – please do not search “Love” and “Joy” externally – you will ONLY find this internally – within yourself…
The external conditions of our lives will always keep changing -- But if you have faith and trust and love on yourself, you will continue to be happy and at peace whatever the external conditions of our life may be.
Joyfulness is actually our natural condition, and it's absence is a sure sign that within us is unresolved pain -- grief, fear, anger, numbness.
So friends - KEEP LOVING, KEEP BELIEVING, KEEP GIVING - "Keep Loving yourself and keep doing what makes you happy."
